Legend of the Seeker Swords is based on the popular television program named Legend of Seeker.  The popularity of the seeker sword can only be attributed to the TV series; the sword itself is not very significant. In an adaptation of a best-selling series of fantasy series by Terry Goodkind, the woodsman Richard Cypher uses his newly discovered magic abilities to aid in stopping a ruthless, power-crazed tyrant from unleashing an ancient evil upon the world.
